The Thirty Years’ War

Fought throughout Europe from the year 1618 to 1648, the Thirty Years’ War started out as a religious war between Protestant and Catholic states but then turned into a more general, political war with most European countries being involved. It was a devastating war, contributing to the presence of famine and disease. The war was officially ended with two treaties, the Treaty of Osnabrück  and the Treaty of Münster.

The Thirty Years’ War map includes a colorful labeled teacher’s map and an unlabeled student map that the child can label and color.
