As the Republic of Rome continued to expand in territory and might, the kingdom of Carthage began to get nervous. Unwilling for Roman occupation to spread across the Great Sea into their land on the tip of northern Africa, the city of Carthage under the leadership of Hannibal attacked Rome using a very sneaky and surprising tactic.

The Punic Wars map includes a colorful labeled teacher’s map and an unlabeled student map that the child can label and color.
