The New England Colonies

Captain John Smith was first credited to using the term “New England” when he published “A Description of New England” in the year 1616. The New England colonies included the Massachusetts Colony, Connecticut Colony, Colony of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, and Province of New Hampshire.

The New England Colonies map includes a colorful labeled teacher’s map and an unlabeled student map that the child can label and color.
