Lewis and Clark Expedition

In May of 1804, Meriwether Lewis and William Clark lead the Corps of Discovery in an expedition to the Pacific Ocean. This expedition, started by Thomas Jefferson, had the goal of establishing U.S. sovereignty over the land as well as finding a continuous water route from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Their journey lasted until September of 1806.

The Lewis and Clark Expedition map includes a colorful labeled teacher’s map and an unlabeled student map that the child can label and color.
