King Philip’s War
King Philip’s War took place during the year 1675-1678. The war was between two groups of people: Native Americans and English colonists (and their Native American allies). “King Philip” was the English name given to the leader of the Native American side, a man named Metacomet. The warring took place throughout present-day New England and ended in Maine with a treaty at Casco Bay.
The King Philip’s War map includes a colorful labeled teacher’s map and an unlabeled student map that the child can label and color.
