By 1860, Italy was split into four states: the Austrians in Venetia, the Papal States, the Kingdom of Piedmont-Sardinia, and the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies. The process of unification involved the Third War of Independence in 1866 and the Franco-Prussian War in 1870.
The Italy United map includes a colorful labeled teacher’s map and an unlabeled student map that the child can label and color.
