Charles Lindbergh and Amelia Earhart were both pilots that played instrumental parts in advancing the United States in aviation. Lindbergh’s most famous flight was his trip from New York to Paris. He left New York at 7:52 AM on May 20th, 1927 and landed in Paris at 10:22 PM on May 21, 1927. Earhart’s most famous flight was her 1937 world flight. It was during this flight that Earhart’s aircraft disappeared and after months of searching, she was officially declared dead on January 5, 1939.
