This is a wonderful giveaway! I’ve heard such wonderful things about KQ maps and timelines!

photini November 1st, 2012 at 9:24 am

I’ve downloaded the iPad app and tried to post a review, but for some reason it won’t take. We just used our first timeline in our first grade curriculum so this is perfect timing.

I love the idea, of the timeline and it’s nice to see it on the iPad, but it sure is tedious to input the dates without a keyboard, especially having to put in AD on every event when the timeline begins with and AD date. I also don’t understand why one time incidents must have both a start and an end date before you can add them. Clearly the first day of school is the first day of school and shouldn’t need an end date also. (same with birth dates)

What a great givaway. This is a great company.

juliecampbell0607 November 1st, 2012 at 9:36 am

I don’t know if I can wait to see if I won. I think I am going to have to go buy it. Patience is not one of my strong points!

Just got an iPad, so I’d LOVE to win the timeline!!!

Terri November 1st, 2012 at 10:31 am

Hi Photini,

Thanks for sharing your input! It is so valuable to us. Actually, you do not need to enter an end date, if it is not applicable. Try leaving it off! :) Let us know how it goes!

I love the Map Trek. My daughter used it so much last year. Hurry and make the Medieval/Renaissance one! We use Tapestry of Grace and love your map products!

smenzmer November 1st, 2012 at 10:14 pm

I love the new timeline app! Have always wished I had room in my house for a big one on the wall–but this is the next best thing!

Natasha November 2nd, 2012 at 12:12 am

I can’t decide which is my favorite! But I love all things history!

LynneB November 2nd, 2012 at 11:01 am

Map Trek is our favorite. I have to drag my son back to his other work as he gets lost in the book. On a short trip he was supposed to bring his science book (same size) and claimed it was by mistake that he brought the Map Trek book . . . it was a very quiet ride.

Terri November 3rd, 2012 at 12:51 am

Lynn, that is so precious. Thanks for sharing that. :)

HillaryM November 5th, 2012 at 7:22 am

We have some of the books as e-books and really enjoy TimeMaps. Hoping to add an iPad to our ‘school supplies’ to enjoy more apps. The hardcover MapTrek is also on my ‘wish list’. So many great products!

jenalambert November 5th, 2012 at 3:21 pm

We love the MapTrek app! Sure wish they were available for every period of history!

okmom74 November 6th, 2012 at 9:57 am

I’m using MapTrek this year with my 6th and 4th grader. What a beautiful book! We love it!

We love Knowledge Quest products. Our favorites are “A Child’s Geography”. Both books are excellent, and have captivating ways to teach geography. We also own the set of three “What Really Happened” and the entire MapTrek collection! Thank you for your wonderful products!

LaneEngland November 6th, 2012 at 11:43 am

I’ve tried wall timelines in the past. We would love to have it on our ipad – so handy.

Abbey November 6th, 2012 at 11:45 am

My favorite product has got to be MapTrek–a *gorgeous* book and great geography add-in!

3lilreds November 6th, 2012 at 11:52 am

It is hard to choose a favorite product! I have most of them! MapTrek is probably the most used, along with our Wonders of Old timeline books. My girls have picked up the “What Really Happened…” books to read on their own, and love them.

JDages November 6th, 2012 at 11:57 am

Would love to win the timeline book; maybe we could actually get to making one for a change.

CB November 6th, 2012 at 12:27 pm

ONE of my favorite products is History Through the Ages…my kids learn so much better seeing something that reflects that time in history.

sisterjl November 6th, 2012 at 3:56 pm

My favorite are the maps. We use them all the time, and my kids are getting better at finding places in the world than I am!

srkuria November 6th, 2012 at 4:54 pm

So many of the products look amazing. I would especially love to try Map Trek and a Child’s Geography.

DWalnut November 6th, 2012 at 8:08 pm

I love your maps – they are so helpful in getting my son to really see history in his mind’s eye.

tmhinton November 6th, 2012 at 9:01 pm
