My son is a bibliophile and really enjoys biographies. They bring him into the time period and really make the information stick. I’ve read samples of these books and know they’d be very beneficial!

My 10yr old would absolutely appreciate this set. She reads a biographie on ppl from history in a day’s time. She ADORES history and would rather not read about anything/anyone else! The even better part is that she gets so excited teaching her friends about what she’s learned and then convinces them to read the books as well. This set would not only be appreciated by her, but she’d pass them on to others when she was done!

My son has recently discovered a fondness for “living history books” and has declared this is the only way to learn about history; going as far as to claim his boring, fact-laden textbook is encumbered with twaddle. (Hummm… I wonder where/how he could have made that connection?) These books seem absolutely wonderful and to have all three in a collection together would be a blessing!
